Welcome to Von Elite Rottweiler Kennel. We are Code of Ethics Breeders located in the Bay Area, California. We support the American Rottweiler Verein (ARV) and United States Rottweiler Club (USRC), and are proud members of the National Independent Rottweiler Klub (NIRK), South County Schutzhund Club in San Jose, and the San Jose German Shepherd Dog Club.
Von Elite is dedicated to preserving the Rottweiler breed by producing quality Rottweilers from the best bloodlines the world has to offer. Our dogs are titled in work and show, and have obtained passing health clearances prior to being considered for our breeding program. Because Germany has a higher regulated and therefore more successful breeding program, most of our dogs are imported directly from Germany. Our puppies are home-raised and well socialized.
Von Elite breeds for the total Rottweiler; a dog that embodies breed type, working ability, and sound temperament. We follow the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) Breed Standard and do not dock tails on our Rottweiler puppies. The standard calls for the tail to be, "in natural condition, level in extension of the upper line; at ease may be hanging." Many U.S. breeders have also elected to follow this standard.
We believe people deserve to own the best quality companion they can. Our dogs are proven suitable for breeding through health clearances, show titles that demand structurally sound and well built dogs, and working titles that demonstrate consideration into true Rottweiler temperament. There are too many dogs being bred that should not, and the result is poor quality offspring with poor temperament, that often end up in shelters. Titles state that the dog earning them was not suitable only in their owner's mind, as most owners will swear their dog to be perfect, but the mind of a Rottweiler professional. Lisa Hoselton, Philip Dysinger, & Jason Adams
Lisa has owned Rottweilers most of her life, while Jason is more recent to the breed. Both attended many conformation shows, seminars, and Schutzhund events before they purchased their first German-bred Rottweiler in 2004, Era von der Goldquelle, SchH III, BH, AD, ZTP, Pink Papered German Import. Era was an excellent example of true Rottweiler temperament. She had working ability, confidence, stability, and friendliness.
Lisa and Jason began showing their other dogs, Bonnie vom Cainsdorfer Land and Redwood Krest's Xamos, in 2005. Since then, they have acquired other fantastic dogs to train with, show, and utilize in their breeding program. They travel to National, Regional, and Independent shows and events all over the world promoting and enjoying their dogs. They have titled their dogs to several Best Puppy, Youth Sieger and Youth Siegerin, Sieger, Siegerin, and Select Adult Male and Female titles, and handled dogs for their BH, AD, and Korung working titles.
In 2006, Lisa was one of the founders of the National Independent Rottweiler Klub. Lisa is the current Vice President and Jason is the Training Director. NIRK has proven incredibly successful, boasting some of the highest entries for Rottweiler Sieger shows in the country. NIRK clubs have formed throughout the United States, including California (where the Executive Board is based), Washington, Oregon, Utah, Tennessee, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, and Iowa.
Philip soon joined the team and brought a wealth of knowledge an expertise in AKC handling (show and competition), Ringsport, Schutzhund, and veterinary medicine. Philip became President of the Sacramento based division of the NIRK and hosted events in the area. He is currently an internal medicine technician and enjoys training and competing.
